Presenting the inaugural edition of exchange4media’s Digital 40 Under 40 that features the trailblazers of India’s digital ecosystem
Last week, the exchange4media Group unveiled its inaugural list of Digital 40 Under 40, which felicitated the biggest achievers and dynamic leaders across the digital ecosystem. The list is an acknowledgement of the thought leaders in the digital space. It sets apart the master crafters, the enablers and the digital wizards at a time where every second person claims to be an expert, thereby distinguishing those who have truly left a mark and shaped the future of India’s rapidly changing digital world. The list features exceptionally talented individuals from varied disciplines and backgrounds, representative of the depth the industry holds today. From advertisers and agencies to ad-tech companies and platforms, the e4m Digital 40 Under 40 is a showcase of the diversity and incredible digital prowess that the industry boasts of today.
With the pandemic dramatically altering the media and advertising landscape, and with digital gaining a place of prominence, the past couple of years have seen some path-breaking work and innovative approaches from the visionaries on this list. The pandemic has served to underscore the value of digital in the world of advertising, marketing and media and has allowed it to display its versatility in breaking barriers and strengthening brand connections with the consumer. It was in this context that the exchange4media Group chose to recognise and acknowledge those who are transforming the media and advertising landscape and give them a platform to showcase their outstanding contributions to the industry.
The Process
Earlier this year, exchange4media invited entries from professionals across various agencies, companies, mar-tech firms and advertisers for its inaugural edition of the e4m Digital 40 Under 40 list. The response was overwhelming with entries pouring in from a wide range of organisations spanning across a plethora of roles and functions. Choosing the final 40 was no easy task but a stellar jury led by Kulmeet Bawa, MD & President, SAP Indian Subcontinent was successful in arriving at the dynamic digital minds on the list. The entries were evaluated on the basis of some key parameters – career history, leadership, creativity and innovation, new initiatives, impact, influence and growth prospects.
