CSR ACTIVITIES
Britannia believes in doing well while doing good and links its Corporate Responsibility to the core of its business – helping deliver health and nutrition as relevant to Indian society. Its products are priced from Rs 2 and make for low-expense delight providers and hunger satiators for BOP consumers. Many of these everyday products have been fortified with essential micronutrients like iron, calcium and vitamins which a majority of Indians are deficient in. They also seek to address lifestyle diseases prevalent in India like Diabetes through offering specially formulated products which are low Glycemic Index. Britannia has also invested in public private partnerships to provide fortified biscuits in school feeding programs and is driving up awareness and advocacy for the cause of child nutrition.
