With burglaries and home invasions becoming commonplace across the country, Godrej Locking Solutions and Systems launched a nationwide campaign #HarGharSurakshit to highlight the importance of home safety. The brand also released a report, which focusses on people’s perception of home safety in comparison to digital safety. The campaign marked the first anniversary of Godrej’s ‘Home Safety day’ which ran the year-long #HowSafeAreYou campaign that was inaugurated in November last year. Shyam Motwani, Executive Vice-President and Business Head, Godrej Locking Solutions & Systems talks about the launch of the brand’s new pan-India campaign which aims to promote home safety across India…
ON #HARGHARSURAKSHIT: The campaign aims at making people aware of the importance of home safety by urging them to use secure locking solutions for all Indian homes provided by Godrej.
ON BRIDGING THE PERSONAL SECURITY GAP: The focus of the campaign is towards driving offline and online activities aimed at bridging India’s personal security gap by pledging Rs 100 crores over the next three years towards making every Indian home safe by 2021. We want every Indian to take a conscious note of their home safety, especially in today’s day and age.
ON RELEASE OF THE CAMPAIGN REPORT: We have also released a report that talks about India’s Security Paradox, which distinguishes between home safety and digital safety to help people understand that home safety requires equal or more importance than digital safety, since 70% of all thefts in India are mostly home thefts while only 30% are digital thefts and yet people tend to prioritize digital safety over home safety.
