With the goal of honouring the most outstanding campaigns that are ahead of their time, exchange4media will hold India’s first marketing awards, Indian Marketing Awards (IMA) 2014, to be held in November, setting a series of benchmarks for the industry. The awards aim to recognize and reinforce the critical role that marketing plays in the organic growth of a business today. A flawless marketing plan communicates the brand’s message, engages the consumer, captures his interest and at the same time sustains value for the organization.
The competition is severe with several deserving contenders which is why the IMA is set to have a rigorous two-stage judging process. The judges will look to reward marketing plans that are innovative, involved strategic thinking, and provided results and key outcomes that contributed value to the respective organizations. The shortlisted entries will be presented to the jury headed by Vinita Bali, former Managing Director of Britannia. Other members of the jury will include the country’s foremost marketing practitioners and professionals from associated fields.
The awards categories of brand activation, brand extension, brand revitalization, among others, reflect strategic marketing objectives that are common to all organizations. Submissions will be judged against the marketing achievements of all types of business – rather than just those of direct competitors in one’s industry sector.The awards will be presented to organizations, individuals and teams who have achieved extraordinary success from innovative and effective marketing practices, having regard to the particular circumstances of different industries and diversity of marketing programmes.
